Program
IVF: The method known as in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) allows the male sperm to fertilise the female egg outside of the body. IVF is a common kind of treatment for infertility after other aided reproductive technology techniques have failed. The process involves hormonally controlling the ovulatory process, removing ova (eggs) from woman’s ovaries and letting sperm fertilise them in a culture medium. The fertilised egg (embryo) is then transferred to the patient’s uterus with the intent to establish a successful pregnancy.
